Description
The Fiocchi Golden Pheasant is a premium upland bird load designed specifically for pheasant hunters working dogs across heavy cover. Part of the Fiocchi Extrema hunting line, this 12 Gauge 3″ magnum shotshell launches a hefty 1 3/4 oz payload of 6 nickel-plated lead shot at a muzzle velocity of 1200 fps, putting a dense, well-distributed pattern on rising birds at typical upland shooting ranges.
The nickel plating keeps every pellet harder and rounder than plain lead, which helps the shot hold its shape in flight for truer trajectories, tighter patterns downrange, and deeper penetration on impact. That makes this load well suited to the long tail feathers and tough body of a rooster pheasant bursting out of dense cover. The shell is built on a high brass plastic hull in a 3″ magnum configuration, giving hunters the downrange energy and payload weight they expect from a dedicated pheasant load.
