Description
Winchester Long Beard XR Shot-Lok is a 12 Gauge turkey-hunting shotshell built around Winchester’s proprietary Shot-Lok Technology. A hardened resin bonds the shot column together, protecting each pellet from firing-setback deformation so the pattern stays tight downrange. The payoff is twice the pellets in a 10″ circle at 60 yards and 10% greater penetration beyond 50 yards compared to standard lead turkey loads.
This 3-inch magnum shell pushes 1-3/4 oz of 6 lead shot at 1200 fps, placing the bulk of the payload where turkey hunters want it: on a tom’s head and neck at modern hunting ranges. The Long Beard XR line is dialed in for one job, delivering consistent patterns whether the moment comes on a quiet spring morning or during a fall flock breakup.
