Description
The Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sight Set brings tritium-powered, self-luminous aiming to the Smith & Wesson 1911. Built as a direct-replacement front and rear set, these iron sights install in place of the factory sights and give the shooter a reliable aiming picture in low-light and no-light conditions without relying on batteries or ambient light.
This configuration uses the 3-Dot aiming layout with a front sight featuring green tritium lamps wrapped in a crisp white outline, paired with a rear sight that carries matching green tritium lamps. The white-outlined front post draws the eye quickly under stress, while the rear’s clean green lamps frame the front dot for fast, intuitive alignment at speed.
The sights are housed in a rugged steel body finished in black to blend with most 1911 slides. Trijicon’s tritium lamps are trusted by law enforcement and professional shooters, and the Bright & Tough system is engineered to boost night-fire accuracy over standard iron sights. Purpose-built for the S&W 1911 platform, this set is an ideal upgrade for carry, duty, or home-defense pistols that need a dependable aiming solution around the clock.
