Description
The Buffalo Bore Ammunition Strictly Business Lever Gun load brings genuine big-bore authority to the 45-70 Gov lever-action rifle. Item 8A20 drives a heavy 430 gr hard cast lead flat nose bullet to 1925 fps out of the muzzle and lays down 3537 ft lbs of muzzle energy, delivering well above the performance of standard factory 45-70 Government ammunition while staying within the pressure window a tubular-magazine lever gun was designed to digest.
The projectile is a classic LBT-LFN (lead, lubricated, flat nose) profile, a hard cast design meant to stay together on impact and drive straight-walled penetration deep through tough hide and bone, making it well suited for woods hunting of large game and serious target shooting from the same rifle. Cases are brass, packaging is 20 rounds per box, and a full case runs 12 boxes (240 rounds).
