Description
The Charter Arms Pitbull is a compact double-action/single-action revolver chambered in 9mm Luger, designed to deliver the simplicity of a wheelgun with the ammunition commonality of one of the most popular pistol cartridges on the market. The Pitbull is built around Charter Arms’ unique rimless-cartridge extractor assembly, engineered to feed and eject standard 9mm Luger rounds.
Built on Charter Arms’ Large frame, this Pitbull carries a 2.20″ barrel, a 5-shot cylinder, and an overall length of just 7.32″. The exposed hammer gives the shooter the choice of fast double-action trigger pulls for self-defense or crisp single-action shots for precision work. Frame, cylinder, and barrel are all finished in matte stainless steel for solid corrosion resistance and a low-glare profile.
A simple fixed front sight pairs with the black finger-grooved rubber grip for intuitive point-and-shoot handling. At 22 oz, the Pitbull is light enough for comfortable all-day carry, yet heavy enough to keep 9mm recoil manageable. It’s a no-nonsense five-shooter well suited to personal protection duty as a primary or backup gun, and equally at home as a low-recoil sport shooter at the range.
