Description
The Otis FG556MSR MSR/AR Cleaning Kit is a purpose-built cleaning system designed for modern sporting rifles and AR-platform firearms chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Built around Otis’s signature B.O.N.E. Tool and a pair of aircraft-grade Memory-Flex cables in 8″ and 30″ lengths, the kit delivers proper breech-to-muzzle cleaning without the disassembly frustration of pulling the bolt carrier group out by hand.
The kit includes a small slotted-tip bronze bore brush and matching bore mop sized for .223 cal / 5.56mm / 5.7mm, plus ten 100% cotton 2″ patches – everything needed for a quick, effective post-range cleaning. The flexible Memory-Flex cables route easily through the BCG channel and barrel for consistent bore contact, and the slotted tip threads into both the patches and brush for secure pull-through.
All components are organized in a compact black nylon soft pack that keeps every tool visible and accessible at the bench or in the range bag. Whether for routine maintenance or a deeper field clean, this AR-15 cleaning kit from Otis is a versatile and reliable solution for any MSR owner.
