Description
The Hornady HAP (Hornady Action Pistol) bullet is purpose-built for competitive action-pistol shooting and high-volume practice in auto-loading handguns. Designed in 9mm (.355) diameter at 115 gr, this jacketed Hollow Point projectile features a sleek, balanced profile with a protected nose that promotes consistent, reliable feeding in semi-auto pistols. The pure-lead core is cold swaged to deliver uniformity, balance, and stability in flight, giving handloaders pinpoint accuracy shot after shot.
Each HAP bullet is wrapped in a copper jacket over a lead core, with a copper coating finish. No cannelure is present, keeping the sidewall smooth for uniform pressure and reduced bore friction. Ballistic coefficients come in at .129 with a sectional density of .130, making the HAP a flat-shooting, accurate choice for action-pistol disciplines where reliable cycling and repeatable accuracy matter most.
This bulk pack contains 500 bullets per box, with 6 boxes per case (3,000 bullets total) for high-volume handloaders and competition shooters. Whether you are loading for action pistol matches or dialing in a high-volume 9mm training load, the Hornady HAP is engineered for dependable feeding, clean accuracy, and the consistency serious shooters demand.
