Description
The Bulldog BD1182 Deluxe Diversion Book Safe disguises a secure steel vault inside a book-shaped shell, giving handgun owners a discreet way to keep a pistol out of sight and out of casual reach. Finished in a brown cover, it blends onto a bookshelf, in an office, or inside a nightstand drawer.
Built around a steel body with a mechanical combination lock, the BD1182 opens via combination entry – a fully mechanical design with no electronics to power. The interior is lined with foam padding to cushion a single handgun and keep it from shifting or scratching during storage.
Measuring 7.75″ wide x 10.5″ high x 2.75″ deep on the exterior, the BD1182 is sized to hold 1 handgun while maintaining a slim book profile that slips easily next to other titles on a shelf. It is intended as a diversion-style personal safe for protecting valuables and a single pistol – this unit is not fireproof and carries no fire rating.
