Description
The Federal Power-Shok sabot slug is loaded for hunters who want to push their 20 Gauge shotgun to longer effective ranges. Housed in a 2.75″ shotshell, this load features a single lead slug wrapped in a polymer sabot that centers and seals the projectile in the bore for tighter groups from smoothbore barrels. The slug leaves the muzzle at 1450 fps, generating 1787 ft lbs of energy on target, and is built around a 7/8 oz (328 gr) lead projectile optimized for hunting applications.
Built for the field, the Power-Shok sabot slug is a smart choice when a 20-gauge shotgun is the primary tool and a clean, accurate single-projectile load is needed. Its consistent powder charge reflects Federal’s longstanding reputation for reliable shotshell performance. The sabot design is intended for use in standard smoothbore barrels, where the plastic sleeve centers the slug in the bore for improved accuracy over a traditional rifled slug, delivering the energy and trajectory hunters need for clean, ethical harvests.
