Description
The DNZ 111PT Freedom Reaper is a 1-piece scope mount and ring combo machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in matte black. Purpose-built for rifles equipped with a 1913 Picatinny rail – including AR-15 flat-top platforms – this Freedom Reaper variant is designed to deliver the clamping strength of a traditional one-piece mount at a fraction of the weight.
Precision socket-head cap screws and four times the thread engagement of comparable mounts give the Freedom Reaper a solid, repeatable lockup on the rail. The 1″ ring diameter accepts standard 1-inch main tube scopes, and the extra high ring height (with a 1.38″ mount height) provides clearance over typical AR-15 front sight posts and other tall obstructions. The overall mount length is 4.25″, and all necessary mounting hardware is included.
Weighing significantly less than comparable steel or aluminum ring-and-base sets – DNZ cites a roughly 67% weight reduction versus traditional one-piece mounts – the Freedom Reaper is a popular upgrade for tactical, hunting, and competition rifles where shedding mass without sacrificing rigidity matters.
