Description
The Speer TNT Green bullet is Speer’s lead-free varmint projectile, engineered around a thin copper jacket wrapped over a compressed powder core to deliver pinpoint long-range accuracy and explosive expansion on impact. Sized to .224″ for .22 caliber rifle chambers, this 30 grain projectile produces a flat-shooting, high-velocity load tuned to varmint hunting.
The Jacketed Hollow Point design with non-lead TNT construction fragments cleanly on small game for instant energy transfer, while the .091 ballistic coefficient and .085 sectional density contribute to predictable trajectory and stable in-flight performance. Each bullet measures .475″ overall length, supplying a consistent, concentric projectile ready for handloading.
These bullets are sold loose as unprimed reloading components for handloaders building their own varmint ammunition; no brass, primers, or powder are included. The lead-free design makes them well suited for use in areas or applications where lead-free projectiles are preferred or required.
Speer 1021 / TNT Green ships as 100 projectiles per box, with 5 boxes per case (500 projectiles per case). A popular choice for custom handloads in .22 caliber varmint rifles, filling out tailored loads for ground squirrels, prairie dogs, coyotes, and other small varmint game.
