Description
The PPU Standard Rifle load in 243 Win is purpose-built for hunting. Loaded with a 100 gr soft point projectile, this round delivers 2960 fps muzzle velocity and 1945 ft lbs of muzzle energy from a brass case.
Prvi Partizan (PPU) designed the Standard Rifle line especially for big game hunting. The soft point bullet features a lead core exposed at the tip to promote controlled expansion on impact, while the jacketed base retains weight for straight penetration. The 243 Winchester cartridge paired with a 100 grain bullet weight is a proven hunting combination, and this load has been tested in rifles such as the Model 70 Featherweight Compact.
