Description
The Hornady LEVERevolution in 32 Winchester Special is a centerfire rifle round built for hunters running classic lever-action rifles. At its core is Hornady’s Flex Tip eXpanding (FTX) bullet – a soft polymer tip seated in a hollow-point nose cavity that feeds reliably from a tubular magazine without contacting the primer of the round ahead of it. On impact, the tip initiates controlled expansion, producing consistent, high-weight-retention terminal performance and up to 40% more energy than traditional flat-point loads.
This load pushes the 165 gr FTX bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2410 fps, generating 2128 ft lbs of muzzle energy – flat-shooting and powerful by 32 Win Special standards. The brass case supports consistent ignition, smooth extraction, and is fully reloadable for handloaders. Purpose-built as a hunting load, LEVERevolution brings modern ballistics to one of America’s most beloved traditional lever-action calibers.
