The Nosler Varmageddon in 22 Caliber is a purpose-built varmint bullet designed for high-volume predator and pest control shooting. This 55-grain projectile features a Flat Base Tipped (FBT) design, pairing a lead-alloy core with a copper-alloy jacket engineered to hold together at high velocities yet expand immediately on impact for rapid terminal performance on small game.
At a true .224 diameter with a polymer tip that initiates reliable upset, the flat base profile delivers consistent accuracy across a wide range of varmint rifle platforms. With a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.255, a sectional density of 0.157, and an overall length of 0.795″, this bullet is built for explosive expansion and minimal tracking of small predators at practical varmint distances.
Sold as a 100-count box of reloading components, the Varmageddon is bullet-only – no brass, primer, or powder is included. Handloaders can pair it with their preferred case, charge, and primer to dial in dedicated varmint loads. The bullet is cannelure-free, making it easy to seat to the desired overall cartridge length.
