Description
Barnes Bullets VOR-TX rifle ammunition delivers handloaded precision in a factory round, chambered in .260 Remington and built around the company’s signature all-copper Tipped TSX Boat Tail projectile. Engineered as a hunting load, this round combines match-grade accuracy with hard-hitting terminal performance.
Each round is loaded with a 120 grain TTSX BT bullet. A polymer tip initiates consistent expansion across a wide range of velocities, while the boat-tail profile supports a high ballistic coefficient for retained velocity downrange. Barnes’ all-copper construction eliminates lead fragmentation, producing double-diameter expansion, maximum weight retention, and clean energy transfer on impact. The brass casings are built to tight dimensional tolerances for reliable feeding, extraction, and consistent ignition across temperature and humidity extremes.
At the muzzle, the VOR-TX pushes the 120 grain TTSX BT at 2950 fps and generates 2319 ft lbs of energy – a potent combination for big-game hunting applications.
