Description
The Hodgdon CFE223 is a spherical smokeless rifle propellant built around Hodgdon’s proprietary Copper Fouling Eraser (CFE) technology, engineered to deliver top velocities while keeping copper deposits in the bore to a minimum between cleanings. The spherical grain shape gives this powder outstanding metering through powder measures, so charges are consistent shot after shot whether you are loading at the bench or cranking out bulk range ammo. The 1 lb container is the standard handloader size for several of the most popular service-rifle and varmint cartridges.
CFE 223 is optimized for several of the most popular bottleneck rifle cartridges, including the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington / 5.56x45mm NATO, 22-250 Remington, and 308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO. Hodgdon’s published load data covers this range of centerfire rifle cases where a spherical powder is a good fit.
This is a smokeless rifle powder, sold as a single 1 lb bottle. The product is classed as HAZMAT for both air and ground shipment, with the applicable carrier restrictions applied at checkout.
