The 185 grain TAC-XP bullet is a 100% all-copper design with a nickel-plated coating for smooth, reliable feeding in semi-auto pistols. Engineered as a home defense load, it produces consistent expansion at self-defense velocities while remaining a strong choice for lead-conscious shooters.
Loaded to +P pressure, this cartridge pushes the 185 grain TAC-XP at a 1100 fps muzzle velocity for 497 ft lbs of muzzle energy. The all-copper construction eliminates the possibility of jacket-core separation, retaining mass and penetrating reliably through intermediate barriers. Nickel-plated brass cases feed smoothly from magazine to chamber and resist corrosion during storage in duty bags or home-defense rigs.
