The Federal Fusion Handgun load in .50 Action Express brings the same molecularly fused bullet construction used in Federal’s centerfire rifle Fusion line down to a big-bore handgun cartridge. Each round uses a 300 gr Fusion Soft Point built with a molecularly fused jacket-and-core design for the toughness, accuracy, and consistent terminal performance that define the Fusion line.
Loaded to a 1550 fps muzzle velocity, this round produces 1600 ft lbs of muzzle energy, placing it squarely in the heavyweight class of big-bore handgun ammunition. A consistent ignition primer and premium powder charge support uniform pressure and reliable function in .50 AE firearms.
Federal engineered the Fusion Handgun line for the field. This load is intended as a hunting round and also serves as a target practice option for .50 AE shooters who want to train with the same bullet and platform they hunt with. Brass cases complete the package, and each box holds 20 rounds with 10 boxes per case for a total of 200 rounds.
