Description
The Trijicon HD Night Sights are a self-luminous, three-dot tritium sight set purpose-built for defensive and tactical shooters who need fast, intuitive aiming in low-light and no-light conditions. Designed as a direct factory-fit replacement on the Smith & Wesson M&P, M&P M2.0, SD9 VE, and SD40 VE pistol platforms, this set drops into the existing slide dovetails with no gunsmithing required.
At the heart of the system is a 3-dot green tritium configuration engineered to drive the shooter’s eye to the front sight. The front blade is taller than the factory unit and houses a bright green tritium lamp ringed in highly visible yellow photoluminescent paint, so the front sight pops the instant the gun comes up – even before the tritium fully takes over in darkness. The rear sight carries two green tritium lamps with a subdued black outline that frames the front blade for clean, repeatable horizontal alignment without competing for attention.
Built around a rugged steel housing finished in black and configured for a standard dovetail mount, the HD Night Sights are sized and contoured to clear the factory M&P slide profile while protecting the lamps from recoil, snags, and repeated holstering. The combination of an aggressive front sight picture and the high-contrast yellow ring has made the HD line a popular upgrade for duty, home-defense, and concealed-carry pistols.
Like all Trijicon night sights, the HD series is powered by tritium gas-filled lamps that glow continuously for years without batteries, ambient light, or any external power source – giving you a reliable aiming reference the moment the lights go down.
