Description
The Hornady Custom 6.5 Grendel factory load pairs Hornady’s proven Super Shock Tip (SST) projectile with the efficient 6.5 Grendel cartridge, producing a versatile round well-suited to medium and large game hunting as well as extended target work. The 123 gr polymer-tipped SST bullet drives flat and hits hard, combining a high ballistic coefficient with reliable controlled expansion across a wide velocity range, making it a popular choice for hunters who want match-grade accuracy from a factory round.
Loaded in brass casings, this Hornady Custom load pushes the 123 gr SST at a muzzle velocity of 2580 fps and delivers 1818 ft lbs of muzzle energy, balancing flat trajectory with hard-hitting terminal performance. Hornady’s Custom line is engineered for consistent accuracy and dependable ignition so every shot performs the same way in the field and on the range.
