Description
The Taylor’s & Company 1873 Taylor’s Trapper is a classic American lever-action rifle chambered in .357 Magnum and styled after the legendary Winchester Model 1873. Built around an 18″ tapered octagon barrel with a traditional blued finish, this full-size Trapper carbine holds 10+1 rounds of .357 Magnum, providing the authority needed for the rifle’s intended hunting and target applications.
The steel receiver wears a classic color case hardened finish that pairs handsomely with the blued octagon barrel, while the buttstock is fitted with a traditional walnut pistol-grip stock in a warm brown tone. Sights are the period-correct blade front and buckhorn rear, and the action is operated by the platform’s signature lever with a standard trigger. The rifle carries an overall length of 37″ and weighs 7.70 lbs, giving this Trapper a trimmer, more compact feel than many full-length 1873 rifles for easier carry and faster handling in the field.
Purpose-built for hunting and target use, the 1873 Taylor’s Trapper blends authentic period styling with modern manufacturing quality. This right-hand rifle is a faithful rendition of one of America’s most iconic lever-action platforms and offers both collectors and shooters a chance to own a piece of Old West heritage that is fully capable at the range or in the brush.
