Description
The Hornady DGS (Dangerous Game Solid) is a heavy hunting 9.3mm rifle bullet built for the largest, toughest game on the planet. Each projectile is a precision-formed 300 gr flat-nose solid featuring a copper-clad steel jacket over a hard high-antimony lead core, engineered for the strength and weight retention needed to drive through thick hide, dense muscle, and heavy bone without coming apart.
Designed for dangerous-game rifles chambered in 9.3mm, this DGS projectile is handloaded for everything from Cape buffalo and elephant to brown bear and wild boar. The flat-nose solid profile transfers maximum energy straight forward into the animal, producing deep, expansion-resistant penetration rather than rapid expansion. A cannelure locks the bullet firmly in the case mouth during resizing and seating.
With a .366″ bullet diameter, .280 ballistic coefficient, and .320 sectional density, the Hornady 3565 gives handloaders a tough, dependable projectile for single-shot and magazine-fed dangerous-game rifles. Each box contains 50 bullets, ready for reloading by the serious 9.3mm hunter or professional guide.
