Description
The Hodgdon HLR1 LEVERevolution is a smokeless rifle powder engineered specifically for modern lever-action cartridges. A medium burn rate propellant developed by Hodgdon Powder Co., it meters flawlessly through progressive and single-stage presses and delivers velocities more than 100 fps faster than most published handloads in cartridges like the 30-30 Winchester, making it a top choice for hunters and shooters who want factory-plus performance from their lever guns.
This versatile propellant is well-suited to a wide range of lever-action and similar bottleneck rifle cartridges, allowing handloaders to develop accurate, high-velocity reloads in their favorite lever rifles. The Hodgdon HLR1 comes in a 1 lb canister of smokeless powder, formulated to deliver the kind of velocity gains that have made the LEVERevolution name a favorite among lever-action shooters looking to maximize performance from their handloads.
