US STANDARD AK-47 BARREL 7.62×39 AK47 MADE IN THE USA STAMPED WITH AN “E”. MADE FOR MILLED RECEIVER. NOT FOR USE WITH M70.
These have the extractor cut, handguard retainer cut, and barrel threaded 14-1 LH With Gas Port. 4140/4150 Steel (not stainless)
These will fit MILLED RECEIVER TYPE 3 BUILDS
The chamber end of the barrels measure approx .908” to .9085”.
The Front Sight base spot measures appx. .592
The Gas Block spot measures appx. .633
The Rear Sight spot measures appx .730
The lower handguard retainer spot measures appx .689
This AK barrel is either 4140 or 4150 with a hardness range of 28-32HRC. 4150 has .1% more carbon than 4140.
Both 4140 and 4150 contain chromium and molybdenum and are therefore “chrome-moly” steels.
