The RCBS 9231 Single Stage Shell Holder 31 is a precision machined shell holder for RCBS single-stage and turret reloading presses. Built from hardened steel with a silver finish, this Size 31 holder is sized to grip roughly 0.125 inch of the case head for proper SAAMI headspacing during resizing and decapping.
Classified as Multi-Caliber, shell holder 31 covers a tight group of large and obsolescent cartridges that share a common case-head dimension. It fits the .400 Jeffery (also known as 450 x 400 Express 3″), the 45-75 Winchester, the 50-70 U.S. Government, and the .50-90 Sharps (2-1/2″).
