Description
The Remington Premier Scirocco Bonded load in 7mm Rem Mag is a premium hunting round built around the 150 grain Swift Scirocco Bonded bullet, engineered to deliver deep penetration and reliable expansion across a wide range of North American big game.
The Swift Scirocco Bonded projectile pairs a progressively thickening, heavy-based pure copper jacket that is metallurgically bonded to the lead core. This construction preserves bullet integrity and retains more than 75% of its original weight even at lower impact velocities around 1,800 fps, giving hunters consistent terminal performance on deer-sized through elk-sized game at practical hunting ranges.
Loaded in a brass case as part of the Remington Premier line, this round leaves the muzzle at 3110 fps and produces 3221 ft lbs of energy, delivering the flat-shooting downrange performance the 7mm Remington Magnum is famous for. It is a natural fit for open-country hunting where trajectory and retained energy matter, and the bonded construction adds margin against tough quartering-away shots.
